Partner with SRFC to help build a continuum of solutions to improve e
ducational and developmental outcomes for children and youth who are experiencing risk factors in Suburban Ramsey County.
The goal of Kids Matter is simple: that every young person in Suburban Ramsey County has at least five caring adults whose faces light up when they enter a room. We want kids to experience these connections everywhere they spend time: at home, at school, in their neighborhood, at the park, at clubs, groups, teams, activities they’re part of, in stores, at the library and in their faith community... basically everywhere they go.
To create this web of support around all kids, we need your help. Research shows that:
- Even one caring, committed adult in the life of a child can change the trajectory of that child’s life.
- Young people do best when they have strong connections to at least three adults (beyond their parent/guardian).
Children and young people are the future. Helping them find and build their strengths, builds our communities. Let’s join together and insure that their future is bright!
There are lots of ways you can join us in this effort.
